TransWare Enterprises is an industry leader in the development and application of advanced nuclear methods for solving today’s emerging nuclear fleet issues. Since 1988, TransWare has been supporting clients around the world with a variety projects spanning the entire fuel cycle. Our team of experts are ready to customize a solution to meet your needs and exceed your expectations.

Dean Jones is the owner and co-founder of TransWare Enterprises Inc. with 38 years of experience in the nuclear power industry. He holds BS and MS degrees in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla (currently Missouri University of Science and Technology) and served as a member of the Nuclear Engineering Development Board. His areas of expertise are in reactor core design, analysis, and fluence evaluations, with emphasis on methods development, validation, and benchmarking. Mr. Jones either developed or was a principal contributor to the development of TransWare's lattice physics methods, core simulation methods, radiation transport methods, and numerous data linkage codes used for various types of nuclear analyses. Mr. Jones is also a principal developer of TransWare’s TRANSFX Nuclear Analysis Software System, which is a fully integrated computational and nuclear data system for performing three-dimensional lattice physics, radiation physics, and medical physics transport calculations.

TransWare has been supporting the industry for nearly 30 years and has a vast array of tools and experience ready to be put to use to solve your challenges. TransWare is the developer of the world’s first true 3-D neutron/gamma transport methodology approved by the NRC for performing fast fluence evaluations for PWR and BWR vessels and BWR internals. Our used fuel services team has assisted more than 20 plant sites with the loading of over 8,000 fuel assemblies into more than 170 casks. Additionally, we are experts in the use of CaskLoader, RAMA, ORIGEN, MCNP, BWRVIA, and many other industry tools.
